Here we have a beautiful home movie style capturing of the bittersweet final month of space 2b's operation (aka, the gas station) in September 1995 when coraggio rented theater lights, painted the gallery white and had his largest one man show to date, (at this writing in 2013). Various friends of linus's are shown hanging out lending support and help in this difficult end of an era of free art and autonomous art activity and vibrations. Footage shows linus blowtorching some plate to make a steel rocking chair, Miquel Algorin of the Newyorican Poets Cafe haggling playfully with linus as he buys a sculpture of a horned mask. linus is shown mig welding the mask later to a cool base. Contributing to the success of these final days was an outpouring of mostly neighborhood people who bought $10k of art from linus which helped him through some tough times that followed as he bounced from various studios from the L.E.S. to the garment district to Harlem and back downtown to Chinatown over the next few years. A fish bbq in the 2b fire pit ends the glimpse of the day in the end of the life at a seminal lower east side alternative art space.
